French toast is arguably the best meal you can have for breakfast. A cereal bowl is decent, and a pancake is delicious, but French toast is the real deal!
Here’s an amazing savory baked French toast recipe that your family will love!

Savory Baked French Toast Recipe
An ordinary piece of bread with a bit of seasoning for a tastier breakfast

Ingredients
- 5-6 slices of bread (or challah bread)
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- 2-3 tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. butter
Instructions
- Mix the eggs and milk in a wide bowl to create the toast’s base.
- Optional: Add a ¼ teaspoon of minced garlic, some cumin, salt and pepper, and some chopped parsley. You can also add cheese if you prefer.
- Grab a frying pan and heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil, then add a teaspoon of butter.
- When the butter melts, dip your toast slice in the mix, covering both sides. Then, place it in the sizzling pan.
- Each side should be fried until golden, so it should only be a couple of minutes.
- Take out the slices when ready and put them on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Serve the toast with soft cheeses or any spread you like, and enjoy your breakfast!
