Equipment

9” cake pan (24 cm)
Universal Measuring Cup

Ingredients

  • 21 oz. tea biscuits (roughly crushed (600 g))
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1¼ sticks butter (150 g)
  • 1 cup water

Coating:

  • 3½ fl. oz. heavy cream (100 ml)
  • 1 bar dark chocolate (100 g)

Instructions

  • Place the roughly crushed biscuits in a bowl.
  • Pour the water into a small pot, add the sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, and mix until it boils.
  • Add the crushed biscuits to the bowl and mix.
  • Turn off the flame and pour everything into a pan
  • Let the pan cool for a while, then place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Boil the heavy cream, then break the dark chocolate into it.
  • Mix everything together and slowly pour the cake.
  • Use your favorite toppings to garnish. For instance, sprinkle some shredded coconut, ground walnuts/almonds, colorful sprinkles, etc.
