It contains aromatic spices from Middle East cuisine, making it the perfect companion to any meal!

Why this Moroccan Carrot Salad is A MUST-try:

Ingredients
- 8 medium-sized carrots
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp. sweet paprika
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. hot sauce (those who like some heat can add another ½ tsp.)
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. coarse black pepper
- A pinch of hot paprika (optional)
- Juice and zest from a medium-sized lemon
- ½ bushel cilantro / parsley
- 4 tbsp. canola / olive oil
Instructions
- Start by peeling the carrots, then cut them into ½’’ thick rings (around 1 cm).
- Move the chopped carrots into a large cooking pot and boil in water for about 20 minutes until they turn “al dente”—soft but still a little bit firm.
- Strain the carrots and place them in a bowl.
- Add the rest of your ingredients to the carrots, then mix everything together until well combined.
- Taste-test the salad and adjust it to your liking.
