Mixed Green Salad With Fruit And Nuts
Ingredients
Salad:
- Any type of favorite leaves ( a handful of Salanova lettuce, a handful of spring mix, a handful of Lalique lettuce (also possible to use spinach leaves, arugula, romaine lettuce, etc.))
- 1 purple onion (cut into rings)
- 5-7 strawberries (rinsed and cut (or any other fruit of the season))
- A handful of salted or honey glazed cashews
Vinaigrette-citrus dressing:
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 orange (squeezed (optional – add also the zest))
- 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. grainy Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1 tbsp. honey
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Mix all salad ingredients in a bowl.
- Shake all dressing ingredients in a jar or a sealed container.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss.
