These super easy-to-make cream cheese pancakes are so flavorful that your kids will go crazy over them.

The luscious taste and fluffy texture are what make these pancakes unique. Plus, they don’t take much time to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 9 oz. quark creamy soft cheese (250 g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 heaping tablespoons of self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl
  • Mix the batter well
  • Put a non-stick pan over medium heat
  • Slightly grease the pan with some oil
  • Add a gulp of batter and let fry on one side until golden brown
  • Flip the pancake over carefully
  • Remove from pan
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy

Tips

  • This recipe is enough for making 15–20 pancakes. So, if you’d like more, doubling the amounts is just fine.
