Universal Measuring Cup
2 loaf pans

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 handful of walnut nibs
  • ½ cup maple syrup (or more)
  • 2 cups self-rising flour (sifted)
  • 2½ tsp. vanilla sugar

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients except for maple syrup and walnuts.
  • Oil 2 loaf pans and pour in the batter.
  • Generously top with walnut nibs.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 45-50 minutes.
  • As soon as you remove it from the oven, pour maple syrup on top.

Tips

  • If you want to make this cake dairy, replace the orange juice with heavy or sour cream.
