Cold days, especially those when you feel under the weather, require special reinforcements.
The most powerful of them is this tried-and-true old fashioned chicken soup that’s packed with chicken, tasty veggies, and noodles.
This is my definition of true comfort food; it’s the kind of food that feels like a warm hug.
The best part is that it doesn’t require a lot of skill to prepare. You just need a large pot and some patience, and you’ve got yourself some tasty dinner.
You can also make a big batch of the soup without the noodles and freeze it for later. When it’s time to serve, just reheat it in a pot and boil some noodles to add to Old Fashioned Chicken Soup Recipe.
