Equipment
Ingredients
- 1½ cups flax seeds (finely ground)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. psyllium
- 2 tbsp. raw tahini
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 cup warm water
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, place the ground flax seeds, baking powder, psyllium, and a pinch of salt.
- Whisk together thoroughly.
- Add the eggs over the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the raw tahini and water.
- Keep whisking until the mixture is fully combined (it should feel sticky to the touch).
- Set the dough aside to rest for five minutes.
- Wet the dough a little, just like you oil a regular dough.
- Using wet hands, cut and roll the dough into balls.
- Place the dough balls over the parchment-paper-lined baking pan.
- Slightly flatten the balls to give them a half-circle look.
- Bake for about 35 minutes.
- Allow to cool a little before slicing the buns open.
