The dough doesn’t need sugar, the filling is sweet enough plus you can spread powdered sugar on top, so we want to make sure it’s not too sweet!

Easy Rolled Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 1 sachet baking powder (10g)
- 2 sachet vanilla sugar (20g)
- ½ cup oil
- 1 cup orange juice
- 200 g margarine (or butter for dairy)
Instructions
- Knead all the ingredients together until receiving a smooth dough. You can knead either using a mixer or manually.
- Let it rest for an hour in the refrigerator
- Roll out the dough and spread with any filling you want; dates, chocolate, Speculoos Cookie Butter , or anything else you like.
- Roll it up and cut small slits (not all the way through). You’ll end up with about 5 long rolls.
- With this dough, you can also make crescent-rolls, jam cookies or any other shortcrust cookie you have in mind.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 15-20 minutes, depending on the oven.
