So, we perfected its recipe and decided to share it with you! It’s super easy to make and uses simple ingredients to bring you a tasty, comforting soup bowl.
What’s more, you can enjoy it as the perfect side for a hearty meal or as the main dish itself.
But how do you cook it up properly? Follow the steps below!

Ingredients
- 2 large cans of corn kernels (alternatively – frozen corn kernels)
- 1 medium-sized potato (diced small)
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 1½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 4 fl. oz. heavy cream (100 ml)
Instructions
- Take one of the corn cans and strain the kernels until there’s no liquid left.
- Grind the kernels to a smooth, soft paste and set it aside.
- In a deep pot, fry the onions until they turn golden.
- Take the second can of corn and add the kernels—with the liquid— to the pot.
- Mix everything together, then add the ground corn, potato, salt, and pepper, and stir again.
- Pour the 2 cups of water into the ingredients and bring everything to a boil.
- Bring the heat down, cover the pot, and let the mixture cook for about 15–20 minutes—until the potatoes are soft and mushy.
- Remove the lid and grind everything with an immersion blender until they turn creamy and soft.
- Finally, add the heavy cream, mix, and enjoy!
