Cooked salmon Cakes are fun to make and eat, and they’re a much-needed change from traditional salmon dishes! Here’s how to make them

Why this Cooked Salmon Cakes Recipe is A MUST-try:

Ingredients
Patties:
- 2 lbs. fish (optional – 1 lb. salmon and 1 lb. bream fish (1 kg))
- A bushel of cilantro
- 1 garlic (minced)
- A pinch of salt
- Black pepper (to taste)
Sauce:
- 2 ripe tomatoes (cut)
- 2 red bell peppers (cut into stripes)
- Hot peppers (to taste)
- Carrot (cut into thin sticks (to taste))
- Potatoes (sliced into rounds (to taste))
- Chickpeas (to taste)
- 1 garlic head (peeled)
- A bushel of cilantro (chopped)
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 tbsp. fish seasoning
- Salt
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Cumin (to taste)
- Turmeric (to taste)
- 2 tbsp. paprika (optional – 1 tbsp. sweet paprika and 1 tbsp. hot paprika)
Instructions
Patties:
- Grab all the patties’ ingredients and grind them. Then, mix them using a large spatula.
- Add some oil, around one tablespoon, and stir again.
- Start forming medium-sized patties with your hands. You can wear gloves if you’d like.
- Put the patties on a tray, separating them from each other, and put it in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Sauce:
- Grab your pot of choice, and add half the amount of oil to it. Then, drop all your spices and veggies at once.
- Depending on the pot’s size, start adding boiled water so that they’ll cover most of the patties when you add them later, leaving their tops uncovered. 3 or 4 cups should be enough for that.
- Cover the pot and leave it on moderate heat for 20 minutes. Then, add the patties and pour the rest of the oil into the pot.
- Leave the pot on heat for 10 minutes, then serve your meal!
