Preparation steps:

Ingredients
Dough:
- 2 lbs. flour (1 kg)
- 2 tbsp. dry yeast (17 g)
- 7 oz. sugar (200 g)
- 1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
- 2 cups milk (500 ml)
- 4 eggs
- 2 sticks butter (200g)
- 1 tsp. salt
Filling:
- ¾ stick butter (soft (80 g))
- Brown sugar (a little less than a cup)
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a large bowl and knead them until they form a smooth dough. Don’t worry if the dough turns out so soft; that’s how it should be.
- Let the dough rest until it doubles in volume. For the best results, put the bowl in the fridge overnight, but it’s okay if you don’t have enough time for that.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts, and roll out each half into a baking sheet.
- On each half, spread a stick of butter, then sprinkle some cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll each sheet into a roll, then start cutting it into equal parts. You can use dental floss for this step because a knife may ruin the dough or squeeze it too hard, causing the filling to ooze out.
- Put your rolls on a baking pan, then brush them gently with a beaten egg.
- Push the ban into a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C). Leave it inside for 20 minutes, then take it out and serve!
