Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 butter stick (100 g)
  • 7 oz. chocolate chips (200 g)
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. baking powder

Instructions

  • Combine the butter, sugar, and salt in a mixer with a flat beater until perfectly smooth.
  • Add the egg to the mixture and stir.
  • Add baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
  • Mix until the dough is smooth and soft.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and mix.
  • Heat the oven to 340°F (170°C).
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls of any size. The recommended size is medium-large because they come out amazingly crunchy this way!
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cookies, leaving enough room between them.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden. Be aware that all ovens have different heat strengths.
  • Allow the cookies to cool down.
