Do you know how every time you take one bite of a chocolate ball, you realize that this is the most indulgent thing you’ve ever tasted?
Well, we’ve been there. However, we wanted to capture the essence of the iconic dessert ball in a more slightly different form: a two-layer cake.

Creamy Chocolate Cake Ball Recipe

Ingredients
Crust:
- 2 bars dark/milk chocolate (200 g)
- 1 cup heavy cream / Rich’s whipped topping (250 ml)
- 9 oz. tea biscuits / graham crackers (roughly crushed (250 g))
- 1 tbsp. raw / toasted shredded coconut – optional
Cream:
- 1 cup heavy cream / Rich’s whipped topping (250 ml)
- 2 tbsp. vanilla/caramel instant pudding mix
- 1 cup quark creamy soft cheese (250 ml)
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Toppings:
- Chocolate curls
- Toasted shredded coconut
- Graham cracker / tea biscuit crumbs
Instructions
Crust:
- Put the chocolate bars and heavy cream in a bowl and melt them in the microwave.
- Add the crushed crackers or tea biscuits to the bowl of melted ingredients.
- Sprinkle some raw or toasted coconut. (Optional)
- Mix everything in the bowl well until you get a soft batter.
- Grab a medium-sized baking pan and flatten the batter inside it.
- Put the pan in the freezer for 30 minutes to solidify the chocolate crust layer.
Cream:
- Whip the cream with the flavored instant pudding mix.
- Add the sugar and quark creamy soft cheese to the same bowl.
- Mix everything in a folding motion.
- Either spread or pipe the cream mixture over the crust. Make sure it’s an even layer.
Toppings:
- For the finishing touches, garnish the cake with your toppings of choice.
Tips
- You can use a round or a square baking pan for this recipe. It won’t matter much, as long as the pan is medium-sized.
