Ingredients
- 3 whole dark chicken cutlets (optional: replace with white chicken cutlets)
- 3 large onions (cut into strips)
- 4-5 garlic cloves (to taste)
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Coarse black pepper
- Paprika
- Cumin
Instructions
- Place the chicken cutlets in a bowl, then add the olive oil, salt, coarse black pepper, cumin, and paprika.
- Stir the chicken cutlets to get the seasoning around all pieces, then leave them for a while.
- Meanwhile, pour some oil into a pan and heat it. Drop the onions and lower the heat. Let them fry until they caramelize into a dark golden color, and make sure not to stir them frequently.
- While the heat is still on, drop the chicken cutlets and garlic cloves. Stir the mixture slightly, then let it sear on low heat.
- Flip the chicken when it’s brown on the bottom side, and leave it until the other side is brown too.
- When the chicken is ready, take it out and serve it. It’s worth noting that if you use white cutlets, they’ll take a shorter time to cook, so you’ll want to be on the lookout.
