Should the eggs be separated, or should they be beaten unseparated?
No, nothing is unseparated. Please beat everything together.
It says in the recipe to bake for 5 minutes. Isn’t it a mistake?
Not at all! You should bake it for five minutes first, then add the almonds on top! Then, you need to bake it for another 30 minutes. In total, they should bake for about 35 minutes.
Can I replace the 2 cups of flour and 2¼ teaspoons of baking powder with 2 cups of self-rising flour?
We’re unsure of the changes this could make to the recipe, but it shouldn’t be too drastic, so go ahead!
