All you have to do is literally add some carmalized sugar to the tahini and you’ll end up with the best homemade halva recipe in the block!

Best Homemade Halva Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 heaping tbsp. raw tahini
- 5 heaping tbsp. sugar
- 3 tbsp. water
Instructions
- Put the Tahini in a stainless steel bowl, and mix until the texture is smooth.
- Put the sugar in a small pot, and heat up on a medium-sized flame for about a minute.
- Add the water and keep stirring until the sugar turns into caramel.
- Add a spoonful of the caramel into the Tahini bowl, and mix well.
- Repeat until all the caramel is mixed with the Tahini, and keep mixing until the texture is sand-like.
- When the texture is sand-like, the Halva is ready. Transfer it to a small glass container, pat it down, and press it with a spoon tightly until completely packed.
- Let it rest, and cut it when it hardens a bit.
- Its possible to store it in the fridge but its not necessary.
