The combination of beetroot salad walnut is thrilling, to say the least, and to make things even more exciting, we topped it all with a special dressing. We’re sure you’ll lick the plates clean because of it.

This Beetroot salad is pretty straightforward and easy to prepare, one you can have on a daily basis as a light snack or pair with another meal, it can’t get any healthier than this.

Beetroot Salad With Walnuts Recipe

Equipment

Mandoline slicer
Large bowl

Ingredients

Salad:

  • 4 fresh beetroots (peeled)
  • 1 handful of raw pecan or walnuts
  • 1 handful of craisins
  • 1 handful of cilantro (chopped)

Dressing:

  • Salt (to taste)
  • Coarse black pepper (to taste)
  • Juice from a half lemon
  • 3 tablespoons date syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Using a mandoline slicer, slice the fresh beetroots into thin sticks, as seen in the picture.
  • place in a bowl, Add the rest of the ingredients.
  • Mix all dressing ingredients, and pour over the salad.
  • Mix the salad and dressing, serve and enjoy.

Tips

You can also try some sliced green apples, our visitors say it’s a must try!
