Almond Biscotti Recipe With Dry Fruits

You don’t have to be a child to enjoy dipping crispy sweet treats into hot beverages. We all love that, and these almond biscotti recipe with dry fruits are a perfect choice.
They’re crumbly, dissolve-in-your-mouth kinds of desserts, leaving you with crunchy nuts and chewy, delicious dried fruits.
Luckily, you can make your favorite classic coffee shop biscuits at home, and even amp them up with your preferred additions.

Equipment
Ingredients
- 4 eggs (unseparated)
- 1 cup sugar (optional: reduce to ½ cup)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp. orange juice (or water)
- 2 cups chopped dried fruit mix
- 1 cup walnuts
- ¾ cup sliced almonds
- Hazel nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C)
- Put the eggs, sugar, and orange juice into a large mixing bowl
- Mix the ingredients with a hand mixer or a stand mixer until well combined
- Put the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder in another large bowl and whisk
- Pour the dry ingredients over the wet ingredients mixture gradually
- Mix them until all the flour disappears
- Add the chopped dried fruit mix, walnuts, sliced almonds, and hazelnuts
- Fold the fruit and nuts into the batter gently
- Line the loaf pans with parchment paper
- Divide the mixture into two parts
- Flatten each part into one of the loaf pans
- Pat the dough tight with wet hands (to avoid sticking)
- Bake in the oven for half an hour
- Take out of the oven and allow to cool down completely before cutting (this ensures perfect cutting)
- Use a bread knife to slice the biscotti into thin slices
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Lay the biscotti slices on their side over the baking sheet
- Bake them at 300°F (150°C) for ten minutes until golden
- Flip the slices over the other side and bake for another ten minutes
- Allow the biscottis to cool down and store them in a sealed container
